Hours: 9am - 6pm after initial classroom training. 8am - 5pm during initial classroom training.

Examples of Work

Located in our Scottsbluff Customer Service Center your day would include telephone interaction and some face to face contact with customers of varied socio-economic levels gathering financial and demographic information with the primary goal of determining benefits for customers. Computer databases are used to update, document and verify customer information, accurately process assigned work tasks and prepare correspondence. This position is the first step to qualifying for advancement to a Social Services Worker and a commensurate pay increase upon promotion to $16.79/hr.

Qualifications / Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: 24 semester hours of post high school education in behavioral sciences, public/business administration, social sciences, education or closely related field OR experience in customer service, determining eligibility for public assistance, examining/processing financial loan applications, medical or unemployment insurance or rehabilitation claims, unemployment services, OR a combination of education and experience in any of the above areas.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Please highlight knowledge, skills or experience relating to database use, telephone based customer service, and call center experience. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate proficient data entry computer skills while communicating with customers, must be able to multi-task and navigate between various computer systems, have good communication skills and are customer focused, have the ability to learn quickly and successfully via webinars and on-line courses. Must have good time management skills and be able to set and manage priorities.
