Margin Clearing Manager
The Margins Clearing Manager will work closely with internal and external business partners to manage the risk of a multi-billion dollar margin portfolio in a way that allows for innovative growth. Core competencies include developing teams towards a future state, understanding dynamics of system dependencies, leading change management and risk management.

The Manager is responsible for the daily execution of the Margin Department functions, including: issuance of house and regulatory calls, processing of asset transfers out of margin accounts, review of disbursement requests that require margin analysis, examination of incoming ACAT and partial transfers, and all complementing creation, maintenance, and reporting of associated books and records. Further duties include executing on strategic goals, creation of and adherence to Written Supervisory Procedures, and responding to internal and external audit/compliance inquires.

+ Coaching, training, and developing associates in a way the supports strategic objectives and a perpetual state of learning

+ Continually developing analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills of the team

+ Lead cross functional problem solving for process and technical improvement efforts

+ Conduct system(s) reviews and evaluations to develop understanding of system dependencies, regulatory compliance, and determine future enhancements with specific focus on the options product suite (OCC, Expiration, etc.)

+ Build partner, vendor, and industry relations to promote cohesiveness within departmental processes

+ Interact with all levels of leadership to build team brand and drive firm understanding of departmental objectives

+ Monitor and interpret regulations impacting the department, building supervision that oversees those requirements, and coordinating resources to address gaps

+ Exercise critical thinking skills during high risk time sensitive scenarios

+ Have or obtain Series 7, 24, 63 licenses with Series 4 being valuable to the functions of the role

+ 4 year college degree preferably in the financial or data analytics fields or related industry experience

+ 3+ years Leadership Experience and 2+ years Risk Management

+ Technically savvy, understanding a wide range of common systems and able to understand the intricacies of system dependencies

+ Demonstrated relationship and team building skills with the ability to effectively communicate to a wide array of audiences.

+ Demonstrated learning agility with a strong appetite for continually evolving knowledge of the industry, systems and methods for training others.

+ Project management experience

+ Knowledge of operational processes and controls and an understanding of risk and quality control functions

+ In-depth knowledge of Margin lending rules, regulations, and practices is preferred
